This week’s family/private investment office deals

Private Equity

Pritzker Private Capital has invested in NAI Group, a privately held manufacturer of connectivity solutions for telecommunications, industrial and medical applications. PPC and co-investors are investing alongside members of the NAI management team and current family investors. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. 

Post-IPO Equity

EQT has invested in Storytel, a provider of phone-based audiobook and e-books. EQT committed €138 million to the Swedish group. 

Seed

Trog Hawley Capital has invested in SpeakeasyCo, an e-commerce platform selling wine and other alcoholic drinks. Trog Hawley was one of two investors committing $2 million to the Californian-based group. 

La Famiglia has invested in arive, an online delivery platform. La Famiglia was one of three investors committing €6 million to the Munich-based startup. 

Vulpes Investment Management has invested in Veremark, a recruitment platform. Vulpes was one of eight investors committing £2 million to the UK-based startup. 

Zinal Growth has invested in Aurelia, a fintech platform. Zinal was one of three investors committing $3 million to the London-based startup.

Waao Partners and Pratithi Investment Trust have invested in Proeon Foods, a food-tech group. The two investors were among five committing INR175 million to the Indian-based startup. 

Series A 

Astanor Ventures has invested in Plantible Foods, a food technology company. Astanor was one of 12 investors committing $21.5 million to the Californian-based group. Astanor has also invested in Stockeld Dreamery, a cheese maker based in Sweden. Astanor was one of 11 investors committing $16.5 million to the group. 

Creades has invested in Stravito, an enterprise software platform. Creades was one of four investors committing $12.4 million to the Swedish group. 

HOF Capital has invested in Dukaan, a DIY platform. HOF was one of 11 investors committing INR803 million to the Indian-based group.  

Picus Capital has invested in WeRize, a fintech platform. Picus was among four investors committing $8 million to the Indian group. 

Series B

Raiz Investimentos has invested in Pier, a digital insurance company. Raiz committed $20 million to the Brazil-based group. 

Valar Ventures and Breyer Capital have invested in Point Card, a rewards platform. The two investors were among four committing $46.5 million to the San Francisco-based group. Valar has also invested in ShopUp,  an e-commerce platform. Valar was one of four investors committing $75 million to the Bangladesh-based group. 

Willett Advisors and Access Biotechnology, part of Access Industries, have invested in Disc Medicine, a biotech group. Willett and Access were two of 11 investors committing $90 million to the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based group. 

Soros Fund Management has invested in Jeeves, a fintech company. Soros was one of 19 investors committing $57 million to the New York City-based group. 

Man Capital has invested in CollegeDekho, an edtech platform. Man Capital was one of five investors committing INR2 billion to the Indian group. 

Exor Seeds has invested in Quantum Machines, which is developing control systems for quantum computers. Exor was one of nine investors committing $50 million to the Israel-based group. 

Series C 

Tao Capital Partners and Emerson Collective have invested in Panorama Education, a SaaS platform for education.  The two investors joined four others in committing $60 million to the Boston-based group. 

IPGL has invested in Elvie, a femtech company. IPGL was one of four investors committing £12.7 million to the London-based group. 

Trihill Capital has invested in Homage, a healthcare group. Trihill was one of eight investors committing S$40 million to the Singapore-based group. 

Series D 

Horizons Ventures has invested in Owlstone Medical, a healthcare group. Horizons committed £42 million to the UK-based group.
