Does the one-person billion-dollar company have relevance for family enterprises? Could a multi-generational family business one day be controlled by just one person, with no other employees? In theory, yes, but perhaps the irrationality, or at least the emotional capital of a family enterprise, makes them less vulnerable to such a stark future.
