London-based real estate group Daejan Holdings has been taken private by the family behind it after more than sixty years as a listed business.
Daejan is owned by the Freshwater family. The group controls a multi-billion dollar UK and US real estate empire and the family currently control around 80% of the business.
Daejan was set up by Osias Freshwater after he fled Poland for the UK just before the Second World War. It’s currently run by his two sons: company chairman Benzion Freshwater and chief executive Solomon Freshwater.
