Family Investment Deals


Tao Capital Partners, the investment group owned by Nicholas Pritzker, has invested in a Californian startup for the construction sector called Raken. Tao was one of five investors in a Series A funding round worth $10 million.

Ironfire Ventures, an investment group controlled by the Chan family, has invested in robotic logistics group Boxbot. Ironfire was one of six investors in a seed round worth $7.5 million.

Singapore family investment group Kamet Capital Partners has invested in local broadband group MyRepublic. Kamet was one of two investors in the startup in a funding round worth $60 million.

HRS Management, the family investment group of Joshua Harris, co-founder of Apollo Global Management, was one of two investors in US Fitness Products, which runs health and fitness clubs in the US. HRS along with one other invested in a private equity round; the investment amount wasn’t disclosed.

Lahav Family Office, which is connected to the Israeli property group Lahav, has bought its 33rd retail property in Germany, according to reports. The latest acquisition took place in Krefeld, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia.
