Pritzker Private Capital hires healthcare heavyweight

Pritzker Private Capital has hired David King as an operating partner for its healthcare group. King, who was CEO and then executive chairman at LabCorp, a multi-billion dollar S&P 500-listed healthcare group, will co-lead PPC’s healthcare team with investment partner Michael Dal Bello.

“Dave is a leader in the diagnostics and life sciences industries, and his skill in building and growing companies to a significant scale will play a critical role in enhancing our operations capabilities for our family of companies,” said Dal Bello in a statement on the hire.

Chicago-based PPC is owned by Tony Pritzker.

Norway’s Ferd moves to new building in Oslo

Ferd, the family investment group of Johan Andresen and his family, has moved to a new headquarters in central Oslo. The group, which manages around $3 billion in assets, was previously located just outside of the country’s capital.

In a statement, Ferd said the move was prompted by the need to be closer to Oslo’s financial and business community, and transport hubs, as well as being better for the convenience of its staff.
