Atairos isn’t a family office, but it’s closely linked to Brian Roberts, the CEO of Comcast, and one of the world’s richest media tycoons. Launched in 2016, Atairos was established by the former chief financial officer of Comcast, Michael Angelakis, who has close ties to Roberts.
