Keith Johnston joins the Editorial Team at Family Capital

Keith Johnston, the founder of the UK-based single-family office network, the Family Office Council, has joined the editorial team of Family Capital as commissioning editor.

Keith has over 15 years’ experience as a wealth sector journalist, lobbyist and communications specialist, with expert knowledge of the private client and family office sectors.  He has established a network for single-family offices, the Family Office Council, and a separate network for UHNW Real Estate Advisers, Family Office Real Estate Advisers (FORA).

Prior to the FOC, Keith was director of policy & communications at the Society of Trust and Estate Planners (STEP) where he was editor of the leading wealth structuring publication, The STEP Journal.  He also lobbied extensively on behalf of UHNW individuals on tax and AML, and launched the STEP Private Client Awards. Keith holds an MA (Hons) in History from the University of Glasgow. 

Keith will have an overall responsibility as commissioning editor and will also drive Family Capital’s real estate coverage.
