Post-IPO Equity

Librae Holdings, an investment group owned by UK real estate billionaire Vincent Tchenguiz, has signed a cheque for S$10.9 million for The Trendlines Group, an Israel-based, Singapore listed investment group.

Private equity

Berggruen Holdings, owned by the German/US investor Nicolas Berggruen, has invested in PHENOMENON, an advertising/innovation company. Berggruen invested alongside an institutional investor in the US-based company. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. 

McNally Capital, a multi-family office owned by the McNally family, has invested in Altamira Technologies (Altamira), which describes itself as a market leader in delivering innovative, mission-focused analytics and engineering solutions to the U.S. national security community. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. 

Unspecified Rounds

Forestay Capital, a venture group owned by Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli, has invested vCita, a business management platform. Forestay invested $15 million into the US-based group. 

Perscitus, the investment office of UK investor John Moulton, has invested in Atom Bank, a mobile banking application. Perscitus was one of four investors committing £50 million to the UK-based group. 

Seed

RIT Capital Partners, the listed investment trust owned by Jacob Rothschild, has invested alongside two other investors in Haus, a real estate platform. RIT together with the other investors committed $4.1 million to the US startup. 

Great Oaks Venture Capital, an investment group owned by Andrew Boszhardt, Jr., has invested in Weller is a CBD-infused snack and beverage maker. Great Oaks was one of seven investors committing $3 million to the US startup. 

Trawalla Group, the private investment office of the Australian Schwartz family, has invested in Neighbourlytics, a community knowledge and analytics platform. Trawalla was one of three investors committing $1.3 million to the Australian-based startup. 

Sharq Capital, a Kuwait-based investment group owned by the AlSharekh family, has invested with five other investors $1.3 million in Coded, a coding academy in the Middle East. 

Schmidt Futures, an impact investment group founded by Eric and Wendy Schmidt, has invested in WattBuy, a cleantech group. Schmidt invested with one other group, committing $1.2 million to the US-based startup. 

Series A 

Bellco Capital, the investment office of Arie Belldegrun, has invested in Kronos Bio, a US-based biotech group. Bellco was one of nine investors committing $105 million to Kronos.

Cannae Holdings, an investment group owned by  William P. Foley II, has invested in Qomplx, an AI software group. Cannae was one of two investors committing $78.6 million to Qomplx. 

Alexandria Venture Investments, a private investment vehicle of Joel Marcus, has invested in X-Vax Technology, a biotech group. Alexandria was one of five investors in a deal worth $56 million for the US-based group. 

Kapor Capital, the investment group owned by Michael Kapor and his wife, Freada Kapor Klein, has invested in Ethic, which creates passive portfolios for sustainability-focused investors. Kapor was one of seven investors committed $13 million to Ethic. More details about the deal here. 

Bling Capital, an investment group owned by Ben Ling, has invested in PIVOT, a fitness trainer application. Bling, along with five other investors, committed $17 million to the US-based group. 

Series C

H14, the family office of Silvio Berlusconi and his family, has invested in Sennder,  a shipping logistics company based in Germany. H14 was one of seven investors committing $70 million to Sennder. 

DST Global,  the Hong Kong-based investment group owned by Yuri Milner, has invested in TravelPerk, a business travel platform. DST led the round, worth €55 million, which was also participated in by Kinnevik, the Swedish investment group owned by the Stenbeck, Klingspor and von Horn families, and four institutional investors. 

RNT Associates, the investment office of Ratan Tata, has invested in GOQii, a lifestyle group. RNT invested $2 million alongside four other investors in the US-based group. 

Series D

ICONIQ Capital, the multi-family office which manages the money of a number of prominent Silicon Valley tech billionaires, has invested in Hippo Insurance, a US-based fintech group. ICONIQ was one of four investors committing $100 million to Hippo. 

Series E

DST Global, the Hong Kong-based investment group owned by Yuri Milner, has invested in Robinhood, a US-based stock brokerage/crypto platform. DST Global led the round worth $323 million, which also participated in by Thrive Capital, an investment group owned by Joshua Kushner, and three other institutional investors.
