Unspecified Rounds

IPGL, the investment office/holding group of Michael Spencer, a London-based financier/entrepreneur, has invested in Glasswall, a cyber-security group. IPGL led the £18 million round for the UK company; three others participated. 

The Chernin Group, which represents the investment interests of Peter Chernin, has invested in Surfline,  a provider of surf reports, forecasts, and editorial content. The Chernin Group backed the Huntington Beach, California-based group with $30 million. 

Drive Capital, an investment group owned by Chris Oslen and Mark Kvamme, has invested in Olive, a healthcare AI platform. Drive was one of eight investors committing $225.5 million to the Columbus, Ohio-based group.  

Convertible Note

Celeres Investments, a Hong Kong and London-based investment group believed to be owned by the Trivedi family, along with Delaware registered investment office Silverstripe International Holdings of unknown ownership, have invested in Jaja, a fintech company. Silverstripe led the round for the UK-based group, which was worth £10 million.

Seed

Delin Ventures, a London-based investment group owned by Igor Linshits, has invested in uMed, a healthcare group. Delin was one of four investors committing $4.8 million to the London-based startup.  

Blumberg Capital, an investment fund owned by venture investor David Blumberg, has invested in Segmed, a medical data company. Blumberg Capital was one of two investors committing $2 million to the Stanford, California-based startup.  

Series A

Singapore-based Wah Hin & Company, the investment office of the Lien family, has invested in Pahamify, an EdTech group. Wah Hin was one of three investors committing an unspecified amount to the Indonesian group. 

Casdin Capital, an investment group/fund owned by Eli Casdin, has invested in iVexSol, a viral vector manufacturing company. Casdin was one of two investors committing $13 million to the New York City-based group. 

F-Prime Capital, the Johnson family, owners of Fidelity, backed venture group, has invested in ConnexPay, a payments platform. F-Prime Capital was one of three investors committing $6.1 million to the  Minneapolis, Minnesota-based group. 

Series B

Astanor Ventures, a Belgium based venture investment office founded by Eric Archambeau, has invested in Aphea.Bio, a biotech group. Astanor was one of eight investors committing €14 million to the Belgian group. 

Longley Capital, an investment group set up by US-based investor Denise Longley, has invested in GoSite, which provides cloud-based software for small businesses. Longley was one of six investors committing $40 million to the San Diego-based group. 

Series C

Kinnevik, the Swedish investment group owned by the Stenbeck, Klingspor and von Horn families, along with Burda Principal Investments, which is owned by German publishing billionaire Hubert Burda, have invested in HungryPanda, a UK-based Chinese food and grocery delivery company. Kinnevik led the round worth $60 million; four others participated. 

Invus, a New York City-based investment business backed by Eric Wittouck, Belgium’s richest individual, has invested in Amount, a fintech platform. Invus was one of four investors committing $81 million to the Chicago-based group. 

Inbox Capital, which is owned by the Swedish Wattin family, has invested in VOI Technology, which owns, operates, and manages electric scooters. Inbox was one of eight investors committing $160 million to the Stockholm-based group. 

Series D 

Valor Capital Group, an investment group owned by Clifford Sobel, a former US ambassador to Brazil, has invested in Olist, an online e-commerce site. Valor was one of six investors committing $58 billion to the Brazil-based group.
