SFO Alliance is hosting their second annual global Members’ Meeting for Single Family Office investment executives in London, England, on 14-16 June 2023.

This follows their successful first global meeting in June 2022, which attracted over 150 single-family offices, with all sessions moderated by SFO executives, or principals, including Mikhail Khodorkovsky who gave his first-hand insights on the developments in Ukraine.

After a year of tremendous growth of the SFO Alliance, SFO Week 2023 is expected to bring together a carefully pre-qualified group of over 250 executives for closed-door peer-to-peer discussions focused on investing.

Attendees are in-house SFO investment teams who invest via funds and/or direct and whose asset-class focus is on venture capital, private equity, real estate, fixed income, commodities, and/or hedge funds.

SFO Alliance is a membership network of currently over four hundred bona fide single-family offices and close to 700 executives from around the globe. The principal benefit of membership is that SFO Alliance pre-qualifies single-family offices, getting rid of tedious imposters, and thus empowers members to focus on meeting only genuine single-family office peers. To qualify, members must be investment professionals (either staff or principals) at SFOs with an AuM of $400M+.  SFOs who raise third-party capital or charge fees as a business do not qualify as members.

Part of the SFO Alliance mission is to help people find matching peers, regardless of location.  Therefore, a new feature of this year’s event will be speed-dating between members, which is only possible because of the large number of genuine families that will be present.

Fund Managers with an excellent track record may register their interest to participate but only a tiny number of the highest calibre will ultimately be invited to attend as commercial partners.  SFO Week is an invitation-only event held at a private central London location.
