One response to “51st family partner and unlimited liability – how is this possible in the 21st century?

  1. A large insurance policy notwithstanding I think it is certainly something to be admired, and something that should give Hoare & Co’s clients a lot of comfort. Alignment of interests and the subsequent management of risks are important factors in any client relationship. At Baillie Gifford we believe our ownership structure – we are a 115-year-old unlimited liability private partnership – is a key strength of our business. It gives us significant freedom to think and act long term, and it allows us to put our clients at the centre of everything we do.
