St. Mary-at-Hill was founded nearly a thousand years ago, and the current church – sitting on the near-invisible street of the same name -is around 800 years old. A couple of streets away sits Pudding Lane, which you will be familiar with, given that’s where the great fire of London started. Following the 1666 fire, Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt the church, but it is so well tucked away you might never spot it.
