This week’s family/private investment office deals

SPAC

Groupe Artemis has backed a SPAC that is merging with French music-streaming service Deezer. Artemis together with other investors are committing $135 million for the Paris-listed SPAC, I2PO.

Private Equity

QRG Investments and Holdings has invested in BDR Pharmaceuticals, a drugs manufacturer. QRG was one of seven investors committing an undisclosed sum to the Mumbai-based company.

Unspecified Rounds

Alan Howard, likely acting through his investment office Alan Howard Family Office, has invested in 17Sigma, a venture capital firm. Howard and one other investor have committed $30 million to the Latin America-focused VC fund.

Seed

Timeless Investments has invested in Healthy Workers, a software development company. Timeless was one of four investors committing €1.6 million to the Amsterdam-based business.

Moai Capital has invested in Remio, a virtual reality startup. Moai was one of four investors committing $4.5 million to the San Francisco-based company.

Pareto Holdings has invested in Ellis, an edtech startup. Pareto was one of seventeen investors committing $5.6 million to the New York City-based company.

Earl Grey Capital has invested in Union54, a fintech startup. Earl Grey was one of four investors committing $12 million to the Zambia-based company.

Astanor Ventures has invested in Planetary, an alternative proteins manufacturer. Astanor was one of four investors committing $8 million to the Gevena-based business.

Leblon Capital has invested in SaveIN, a healthcare fintech company. Leblon was one of fifteen investors committing $4 million to the India-based business.

Moore Strategic Ventures has invested in aMORA, a realtech startup. Moore was one of five investors committing $3.2 million to the Brazil-based company.

Series A

Aglaé Ventures has invested in Beamy, a SaaS company. Aglaé was one of five investors committing $6 million to the Paris-based startup.

Ethereal Ventures has invested in Spruce, a software development company. Ethereal was one of eight investors committing $34 million to the New York City-based firm.

Tal Ventures has invested in TULU, a consumer services platform. Tal was one of six investors committing $20 million to the New York City-based business.

Series B

The Westly Group, Standard Investments, and two other funders have invested in Optimal Dynamics, a logistics startup. Together, they have committed $33 million to the New York City-based company.

Fenice Investment Group has invested in Ohmium, a renewable energy company. Fenice was one of two investors committing $45 million to the Nevada-based business.

WndrCo has invested in Twingate, a cybersecurity company. WndrCo was one of four investors committing $42 million to the California-based business. WndrCo has also invested in Studio, an online creative community. WndrCo was one of seven investors committing $50 million to the San Francisco-based platform.

Series C

Moore Strategic Ventures has invested in GridX, a digital energy platform. Moore was one of four investors committing $40 million to the California-based business.

Moquin Capital, KMMT Fortress Investment, Caron Capital, and six other funders have invested in Fortress Information Security, a cybersecurity firm. Together, they have committed $125 million to the Florida-based company.
