Real Estate

Spanish multi-billionaire Amancio Ortega, likely through his investment office, Pontegadea Investments, has paid £200 million to purchase a prime office block in Glasgow, Scotland.

Private Equity

Bodhi Tree Systems has invested in Allen Career Institute, an education establishment. Bodhi has committed ₹45 billion to the India-based business.

Post-IPO Funding

RJB Partners has invested in Blue Apron, a grocery delivery service. RJB was one of two investors committing $40 million to the New York City-based business.

Mike Cannon-Brookes, likely acting through his investment office Grok Ventures, has invested in AGL Energy, a renewable energy provider. Cannon-Brookes has committed A$654 million to the Sydney-based business.

Unspecified Rounds

Shulman Ventures has invested in Healthmap Solutions, a health management company. Shulman was one of five investors committing $35 million to the Florida-based business.

Ferd has invested in Aidian, a biotech company. Ferd has committed an undisclosed amount to the Finland-based firm.

Seed

Omidyar Network India has invested in TEAL, a proptech company. Omidyar was one of two investors committing ₹148 million  to the Bangalore-based business.

Crista Galli Ventures has invested in Ruth Health, a telehealth company. Crista was one of thirteen investors committing $2.4 million to the Los Angeles-based business.

Crista Galli Ventures has invested in Apryl, a healthtech startup. Crista was one of six investors committing €4.1 million to the Berlin-based company.

Crista Galli Ventures has invested in 52 North Health, a medtech company. Crista was one of five investors committing £1 million to the UK-based startup.

J. Hunt Holdings has invested in Spectrohm, an internal imaging tech business. J. Hunt was one of six investors committing $2 million to the Virginia-based company.

Desai Family Office has invested in Frendy, an e-commerce platform. Desai was one of seven investors committing ₹230 million to the India-based startup.

BLN Capital has invested in The Football Company, an NFT-based fantasy football manager. BLN was one of six investors committing €2.5 million to the Munich-based startup.

Altman Capital has invested in Dock, a software platform. Altman was one of three investors committing $3 million to the San Francisco-based business.

Series A

Venrock, Horizons Ventures, and one other funder have invested in Kelonia Therapeutics, a biotech company. Together, they have committed $50 million to the Massachusetts-based business.

The Westly Group has invested in Network Perception, a cybersecurity firm. The Westley Group was one of six investors committing $13 million to the Chicago-based company.

Larry Ellison, most likely acting through his investment office Lawrence Investments, has invested in Imagene AI, a cancer diagnosis startup. Ellison was one of three investors committing $18.5 million to the Tel Aviv-based company.

ATHOS Service has invested in Bankingly, a digital bank. ATHOS was one of nine investors committing $11 million to the Montevideo-based business.

Invest Fwd, Groupe Artémis, and six other funders have invested in VitroLabs, a biotech business. Together, they have committed $39 million to the California-based company.

Illusian Family Office has invested in HiveMQ, an IT services business. Illusian was one of six investors committing €40 million to the Bavaria-based company.

Series B

Sofina, Smiti Holding & Trading Co, and one other funder have invested in Skillmatics, an edtech company. Together, they have committed ₹1.2 billion to the Mumbai-based business.

Venrock has invested in Vanilla, a fintech startup. Venrock was one of two investors committing $30 million to the Los Angeles-based business.

Metaplanet Holdings and six other funders have invested in Argent, a crypto wallet. Together, they have committed $40 million to the London-based business.

Innovius Capital has invested in Amberdata, a digital asset data provider. Innovius was one of thirteen investors committing $30 million to the California-based company.

Series C

Mankekar Family Office and eight other funders have invested in Toothsi, a health & wellness company. Together, they have committed $40 million to the Mumbai-based business.

Tao Capital Partners, Morningside Ventures, and four other funders have invested in Apnimed, a healthtech company. Together, they have committed $62.5 million to the Massachusetts-based company.

Moore Strategic Ventures has invested in Group14 Technologies, a battery storage technology company. Moore was one of six investors committing $400 million to the Washington State-based business.

Series D

Valar Ventures and four other funders have invested in Taxfix, a fintech business. Together, they have committed $220 million to the Berlin-based company.
